Inspired by connection before the internet
When there was no silence on an elevator or waiting for a bus. Small talk, in it’s most modern form, often shapes connection through the simple compliment of a hat or shirt, and is often followed by the small talk that used to exist within all fronts of life. These forms of connection no longer exist to the same extent. So if you see someone wearing a before the internet hat, just know they’re also trying to bring back small talk.
