Shipping Policy

(Before the Internet Events – Merchandise & Event Packages)

This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) governs the delivery of all physical merchandise and event-related materials (“Products”) sold or distributed by Before the Internet Events (“BTI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order with BTI, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Order Processing

  • Orders for merchandise and event materials (e.g., wristbands, event passes, signage, or phone pouches) are processed within [X] business days after payment is confirmed.

  • Processing times may vary during peak seasons, custom print runs, or due to supply chain constraints.

  • You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been accepted.

2. Shipping & Delivery

  • BTI ships via trusted third-party carriers (e.g., Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, DHL).

  • Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout but are not guaranteed.

  • BTI is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, customs, strikes, weather, or any event beyond our reasonable control.

  • For time-sensitive event materials, clients are strongly advised to place orders well in advance to allow for carrier delays.

3. Shipping Locations

  • It is the Client’s responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address. BTI is not liable for non-delivery or delays resulting from incorrect information provided at checkout.

4. Event-Specific Materials

  • For corporate packages or attendee kits, BTI’s responsibility ends once the items are handed over to the carrier.

  • Clients are responsible for distribution of materials (e.g., giving wristbands to attendees, enforcing pouch policies, etc.) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • BTI is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items once they are in the possession of the carrier.

5. Shipping Costs, Duties & Taxes

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and vary by destination and carrier.

  • International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees. These are the responsibility of the Client/recipient and are not included in the purchase price.

  • BTI will not reimburse any customs charges, import duties, or taxes.

6. Risk of Loss & Title

  • All products are shipped under a shipment contract.

  • Title and risk of loss pass to the Client upon BTI’s delivery of products to the carrier.

  • BTI is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged once in transit.

7. Returns & Non-Delivery

  • Due to the time-sensitive nature of event materials, all sales of event-related products are final and non-refundable.

  • If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to pay customs duties, the Client is responsible for reshipping costs.

  • For merchandise returns/exchanges, please refer to our Return Policy (if applicable).
